New Brighton Cohousing Community
Our Location
With beaches and redwood forest trails just a mile in each direction, we love to enjoy Santa Cruz County’s natural wonders.

AJ's Natural Food Market is just across the street with a yummy hot food counter. Cabrillo College is blocks away with its Farmers Market.

Several county parks and playgrounds are close by with a couple easily walkable for families. The Forest of Nisene Marks State Park, Aptos Village, and Soquel Village are minutes away by bike or car.
Our school district has warm and welcoming schools, including a school with a Spanish/English dual immersion program. Two excellent preschools are in walking distance.

We are on a major bus line that traverses the county.

We are situated well when it comes to climate risk. According to our local fire agencies, we are in a very low risk zone when it comes to fires by being far downslope from forests and being close to the ocean with its protective marine moisture. Our property is 150' above sea level and not in flood zones.
